Who We Are
SM Group Publishing was created when Savvy Mode, an Oklahoma-based talent management company, expanded its client base and services in 2005 to include the representation and production of works by creative artists. This diversification brought increased focus to the publishing services most sought out by unique, aspiring writers and SM Group has chosen to specialize in these services.
We now work with a select group of American writers, musicians, and visual artists to help launch their careers via print and online publications. To compete as an industry leader in today's world of advanced technology, our clients have the opportunity to use SM Group's digital media and internet marketing services in addition to our extensive list of customized product offerings.

As part of our standard publishing agreement, both the artist and SM Group share in the costs of publication. Although we request that each artist cover certain initial fees associated with editing and printing, no further financial investment is required and a simple royalty arrangement is maintained thereafter. By not providing royalty advances, our artists are able to immediately be compensated for the sales of their works. Our artists also benefit from SM Group's administration, distribution, order fulfillment, and marketing services that are provided to all of our clients.
